Nuevo Vallarta Hotels

Nuevo Vallarta hotels are some of the best in Mexico. Luxury hotels along the beach not only offer amazing views of the water but also allow visitors to enjoy all that Nuevo Vallarta and nearby Puerto Vallarta have to offer. Vallarta adventures are often just a short walk away! So as nice as your hotel may be, force yourself to leave it for at least a few hours a day to enjoy Nuevo Vallarta’s beautiful climate. With warm temperatures year round, outdoor activities are an ideal way to fill your days and help make your trip a memorable one. Many of these activities offer exercise, good times, and can even be a great way to explore the area.

With its location, it’s no wonder that many of the most popular outdoor activities involve the water. Many of the Nuevo Vallarta hotels are right off the beautiful Banderas Bay making the allure of the beautiful waters something most people cannot pass up. If you are interested in a Vallarta adventure, there are many different tours offered with varying locations aboard varying vessels. One such tour takes you to Yelapa, an isolated town probably best known for being the location of the 1964 film, The Night of the Iguana. This particular tour is an all day event and offers travelers the opportunity to not only pass by some gorgeous natural wonders but to actually get out and explore the area. You are even given the opportunity to go snorkeling, kayaking, horseback riding, or parasailing. There are also guided tours of Yelapa which include a trip to the stunning Yelapa Waterfall. All in all, not a bad way to spend the day.

If a day full of exploration and the ocean escapades is not what you are looking for, there are still plenty of other Vallarta adventures from which to choose. Perhaps you would prefer a shorter trip. In that case, maybe a sunset sailing tour would interest you. Enjoy snacks and an open bar while you gaze out at the setting sun and the beautiful colors it projects over the landscape.

Aside from cruises, tours, and other water activities, Vallarta’s close proximity to the ocean means a unique opportunity to observe the aquatic wild life that many people do not get a chance to see. Animals such as sea lions, dolphins, sea turtles, and, depending on the season, even whales can be seen by lucky travelers.
For those of you who are not big fans of the water, there are still plenty of Vallarta adventures for you. From the more tame horseback riding and sightseeing opportunities to the more adrenaline filled ATV tours or canopy tours. One of the wonderful things about Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta is the range of things to do. You are free to relax on a beach chair and just enjoy the sun and sand or get your heart racing as you ride a two mile zip line over the river and trees below. Whatever you want to do, Vallarta can accommodate you and at the end of the day, you can return to one of the many deluxe hotels the area has to offer.

Just off Banderas Bay, you will find some amazing accommodations. Villa La Estancia contains privately owned luxury condos in a five-star resort setting. The advantage here is that you are getting far more than just a hotel room. These villas come with all the comforts of home but with the conveniences of a resort. You can make your own home cooked meal in your own private kitchen or order some room service; it is up to you! And really, on vacation, isn’t that how it should be?
